Experts say that crying during or after intimacy does not always signal distress. In many cases, tears are a release of deep emotional tension or a reflection of intense vulnerability. For some women, the act of being so physically and emotionally open with a partner can trigger feelings they’ve suppressed for long periods. These feelings may include unresolved trauma, fear of abandonment, or even overwhelming love and connection.
