Paris FC Agree €7 Million Deal For Moses Simon

Newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC are set to make a major statement ahead of their return to top-flight football, having reportedly reached an agreement with FC Nantes for the transfer of Nigerian international Moses Simon.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, the deal is worth around €7 million, with Moses Simon expected to join Paris FC in the coming days.

The 29-year-old winger has been a top target for the capital-based club as they prepare for their first season in Ligue 1 in 46 years.

Paris FC had initially tabled a €5 million bid, as reported by Ouest-France, but this was turned down by Nantes.

However, an improved offer convinced the Canaries to part with the experienced forward, who has been an influential figure since joining the club permanently in 2020.

Simon played a vital role in helping Nantes avoid relegation in recent seasons and was instrumental in their Coupe de France triumph in 2022.

Last season, he contributed eight goals and 10 assists, helping the club finish 13th in Ligue 1 with 36 points, just six above the drop zone. Over five seasons, Simon made 201 appearances, netting 37 goals and providing 42 assists.

Despite attracting interest from Rennes, Marseille, and Premier League side Everton, the Super Eagles winger appears destined for a move to Paris FC, where his pace, creativity, and experience are expected to be crucial for the club’s survival ambitions.
