Kofoworola Bucknor-Akerele, born on April 30, 1939, is a politician, journalist, and former Deputy Governor of Lagos State. She served in that role from 1999 until November 2003.

She resigned from her position during the tenure of Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stepping down after his first term in office.
