Prince Idubor, popularly known as Arhuanran (also spelled Aruanran), was destined to become the Oba (King) of Benin during the height of the great kingdom’s prosperity. However, legend says he was denied his rightful throne, which instead went to his younger brother, Esigie — a sibling born on the very same day as him.
