In a touching tribute shared on Instagram, Nonye Soludo expressed her pain over the tragic loss, describing Sommie as a “young, vibrant soul” whose life was cut short in devastating circumstances. She highlighted that Sommie was not just a brilliant professional but also a proud daughter of Anambra State whose brilliance and warmth extended far beyond the television screen. “A proud daughter of Anambra State, Sommie, as she was fondly called, was not just a brilliant professional but a bright light whose career radiated beyond the screen,” she wrote.
The governor’s wife further extended her condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased, while praying that her memory would provide comfort during this painful period.
