Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike recently reacted after Olubadan designate Oba Rasheed Ladoja sought the guidance of the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s guidance during a visit on Sunday. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the request was made as the new traditional ruler prepared to ascend the throne of Ibadanland.
Olubadan designate, Oba Rasheed Ladoja made a striking move on Sunday during the visit of the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi to his Palace that rekindled a public debate which had been ongoing for several weeks.
During the unprecedented visit from the traditional ruler to Ibadan, accompanied by his entourage, the Monarch of Ile-Ife’s guidance was sought by Oba Rasheed Ladoja as he prepared to take over the affairs of Ibadan ancient Kingdom.
