Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport has drawn attention with a social media post offering to personally fund a short stay in the West Bank.

Writing on Facebook, Rapaport laid out the terms of what he described as a standing challenge that he has been making for nearly two years.

“I got an offer for one person. I’ll fly you straight to Israel. A car will pick you up at the airport and drive you right to Ramallah. From there, you’re on your own — find your own place to stay in Ramallah or Jenin,” Rapaport wrote.

According to the offer, the participant must remain exclusively in Ramallah or Jenin throughout the trip.

“Here’s the deal: you stay ONLY in Ramallah or Jenin. I’ll give you $100 a day for five days. When your stay is done, another car will pick you up and drop you back at Ben-Gurion Airport,” he explained.

Rapaport, known for his outspoken views on politics and social issues, emphasized that this was not a new initiative.

“This isn’t new. I’ve been making this offer for over 700 days,” he added.

By restating his ongoing proposal, Rapaport appears to be highlighting what he sees as the dangers of living under Palestinian Authority-controlled areas, while simultaneously daring those who criticize Israel’s policies to experience the region firsthand.

His message reflects his continued use of social media as a platform for commentary, drawing both criticism and support.
