Wike has Insulted His Wife, Late Papa Clark and Dr. Odili–Bode George Reveals

Chief Olabode George, a founding member and respected elder of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has strongly condemned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over what he described as a consistent pattern of verbal assaults against senior party members and political elders.

His reaction came in the wake of Wike’s latest public tirade where the former Rivers State governor lambasted PDP and loyalists of the party. George did not mince words during his televised interview with Arise News, calling Wike’s recent statements disrespectful, disgraceful, and unbecoming of a man who has benefitted so immensely from the same party he now undermines. Chief George expressed particular disgust at what he termed Wike’s utter disregard for those who paved the way for him.

He said “Instead of showing leadership and humility, he is fighting everyone like a man on a warpath,” “Wike has insulted the late Papa Clark, Dr. Peter Odili, and his wife, a retired Justice,” “These are not just names. These are people who laid the foundation of the political structure Wike climbed on. Without them, he wouldn’t have been chairman, chief of staff, minister, or governor.”

The PDP chieftain didn’t hold back in calling for introspection within the party. “We must not allow any individual, no matter how loud, no matter how rich, no matter how connected, to hijack our party or rewrite its values. If we don’t speak now, then we have failed the next generation.”

Chief George concluded with a call for discipline and a return to the core values of loyalty, gratitude, and mutual respect. “Wike may be the Minister today, but power is transient. Let him remember that he is still a member of the PDP, and he cannot destroy the house that built him.”
