Reports suggest that Miller was allegedly given medication that was not prescribed to her after the procedure.

She was put to bed between 12 noon and 1 p.m., but later that night, concerns arose when she had not woken up.

At around 9:30 p.m., staff members checked on her and found her unresponsive. Emergency services were contacted, but she was pronounced dead by 10:26 p.m.

When the police arrived, Miller was found heavily bandaged, lying face down, and already showing signs of rigor mortis.

An autopsy later confirmed that her cause of death was acute combined drug toxicity.
