According to counterterrorism specialist Zagazola Makama, the shooters entered the school on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m. Makama claimed that the school’s employees and kids were terrified as the gunmen, who were thought to be armed herdsmen, fired intermittently into the air.

An 80-man patrol team from the Benue State Civilian Joint Task Force (PMF) Odugbo came on the location and effectively repulsed the militants, according to sources familiar with the situation. After being overpowered by the security troops, the attackers reportedly ran into a nearby thicket. Makama claims that no casualties were reported during the alleged herdsmen’s attack.

In an attempt to find the attackers, he added, patrol team members have kept searching the school grounds and the adjacent woodlands. Both schoolchildren and neighborhood members have been asked to maintain their composure.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
