Once renowned for their peaceful cohesion, the communities are now emblems of loss and destruction. Armed men stormed into the sleeping neighborhoods at around two in the morning on Friday, starting the murderous assault and leaving a path of death and ruin in their wake.

Heartbreaking images played out as families, joined by neighbors and others, conducted mass burials on Saturday morning. Coffins were lowered into the ground while tears streamed freely. Following the massacre, local leaders have demanded that the federal and state governments step in right now. They are calling for more security, justice, and assistance for those who have been displaced by the violence.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
