BREAKING NEWS: “Seeing Umahi Reeling Data Out Without Even Looking At The Paper Nearly Made Me Cry” -Segun Showunmi

The departure of Works Minister David Umahi to the APC has been deeply regretted by a PDP chieftain, who described his recent performance at the ruling party’s summit as a bitter reminder of what the opposition has lost.. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In an interview with Channels TV, Segun Showunmi warned that the opposition party could collapse in several crucial states, contrasting Umahi’s outstanding data presentation with the PDP’s internal disputes. “Every election serves as a vote. Showunmi acknowledged the APC’s early campaign stance when he said, “You are going to run against the ruling party that is going to have to come to the table with what they say they’ve done, and they started that already.”

The PDP leader talked about how seeing Umahi’s presentation at the APC National Summit affected him emotionally. “Seeing Umahi pull facts out without even glancing at the page nearly brought me to tears. ‘Oh God, how did PDP lose this guy?’ I exclaimed. Showunmi bemoaned the former Ebonyi governor’s defection, saying, “I had spotted him for years; they don’t do that.”

He cautioned that the PDP merely gives rehashed rhetoric, while the APC would show out tangible accomplishments. “Now, what will these fools bring if they show up with what they claim to be their action plan and everything that can be verified? “You expect the Nigerian people to follow them,” Showunmi said, referring to their rehashed claims that they are the new order.

The PDP’s emphasis on internal conflicts rather than strategic positioning was condemned by the chieftain. “I give credit to a serious party, not one that fights over chairmanship the next day after arguing over secretary the morning before. He was frustrated by leadership disputes and asked, “How can they be fighting over nothing?”

Showunmi emphasized how ridiculous the party’s priorities are in view of the present difficulties. “What the hell is the PDP fighting about, aside from the possibility that they anticipate some people to purchase forms there? Does the identity of the chairman matter? He questioned, “When we face an existential threat, does it matter who the secretary is?”

Starting with recent defeats, the chieftain gave a scathing analysis of the PDP’s waning state power. We recently lost Delta. Are you aware of what that implies? Delta is one of the four states that we have that you can say can structure and fund anything when the chips are down, and Rivers is one of them,” Showunmi disclosed.

He cautioned that if internal strife persists, there may be more losses. Additionally, based on rumors I’ve heard, we run the risk of those individuals not even attending the party if they dare to resolve the dispute between Wike and Fubara, as I have advised. After that, you would lose Akwa Ibom. Bayelsa will be the only one standing, but I’m sure she won’t actually stand. And you believe that the party dealing with that kind of issue ought to be debating who should be the secretary?”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
