On Tuesday, Chidi Odinkalu tweeted a post on his official X Twitter that included his statement. VANGUARD claims that El-Rufai and five other individuals were ordered by the Federal High Court in Kaduna to pay N900 million in damages for the arbitrary detention and incarceration of elders from the Adara community.
Reports state that the arrest was made in 2019. Chidi Odinkalu responded to the report’s online appearance by applauding the court’s ruling. He said that Nasir El-Rufai consistently prevailed in court while serving as governor. He claimed that he has been losing since leaving office. Chidi Odinkalu claims on his official X account that “El-Rufai was unable to lose in court while serving as governor of Kaduna. He can’t stop losing now that he’s not the governor.
