He was extremely grateful to his cousin Friday Arogha, who oversaw the entire construction process, and to Mrs. Simi Alegbe, who exquisitely furnished the house in anticipation of what he called a tranquil retirement. Momodu also reconnected with family members during the tour, marking the event as a symbolic and intimate return home.
