“Let me make it clear to those of you staying here,” Amaechi stated during a recent event. When I saw President Tinubu in Yola, I informed him that I would neither support him or vote for him. I informed him beforehand.
“I’m saying this because people in Rivers State have been writing that he didn’t work for APC, he didn’t support Tinubu,” he added, underscoring the fact that his decision was not a secret. It wasn’t a question of whether I did or not because I informed him beforehand, before to the election. I was certain that there was a capacity issue, so I informed him of it. Amaechi accused Nigerian elites of taking advantage of the people and attacked the political class. “It’s an elite conspiracy.” As we sit here, we consider the best course of action to seize power. You are not important to us. Nigerian leaders don’t give a damn about you.
He bemoaned Nigerians’ lack of interest and called the country “a do-nothing society.” He asserted, “You objected. The president declared an increase in petrol prices at the conclusion of the demonstration since you would not take any action.
